#17 Budapest – Whirlwind Tour

Lately things have been pretty hectic, so while relaxing on a yacht docked in Turkey and surrounded by towering cliffscapes basked in sunshine I couldn’t possibly think of a better time to backtrack and let you know about Budapest. Due to the bus schedule we only spent four days and three nights in Budapest but with a little help from a few photos you can see just exactly how things went down. Enjoy…

Being graduate architects we lapped up the cool architecture and engaging streetscapes.

We went inside and climbed to the top of St Stephen’s Basilica for a 360 degree view of the city.

We checked out Europe’s biggest (I think) parliament building.

We went to the Hero Monument, found and replicated the best statue pose in recent history.

We went for a ride on the oldest tube in the world.

On the bus ride out of town with Oktoberfest on our minds we agreed that, much like The Strokes, Budapest is just effortlessly cool.

Peace
